Paediatric orthopaedics Berlin Frohnau | Paediatric orthopaedic care Berlin Frohnau
Paediatric orthopaedics | a speciality for growth and developmentPaediatric orthopaedics deals with the detection, assessment and treatment of deformities, growth disorders, diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system. A paediatric orthopaedist decides on an individual basis when preventive measures are required, whether surgical intervention is necessary or whether certain abnormalities can be corrected by themselves in the course of development. Since children's bones are still growing, treatment requires a particularly precise assessment. Long-term observation is often necessary to optimally monitor development and correct misalignments or functional disorders at an early stage. |

At our practice, we offer comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services in the field of paediatric orthopaedics. These include, among other things, infant hip diagnostics according to Graf, an established ultrasound examination for the early detection of hip dysplasia in newborns, as well as special neurophysiological examinations according to Vojta, which are used in particular for movement disorders. For further diagnostic imaging, we work closely with radiological practices to use modern cross-sectional imaging techniques such as MRI and CT. In terms of therapy, we use all the usual conservative methods after providing detailed information and advice, including: Redressing and growth-directing bandages: These support the correction of misalignments during growth. Drug therapy: For the relief of pain and inflammation. Provision of orthopaedic and shoe technical aids: In direct consultation with the technician in the practice, individual solutions are developed to ensure the best possible support for your child. Our goal is to promote the best possible development and quality of life for your child through holistic and individual care. |
