Pulsed Electromagnetic Fields Therapy (PEMT) is a natural healing method.

The painful effects of stress and tension can be relieved and mitigated through increased oxygen intake and the reduction of metabolic waste. Normal body functions are activated, complaints causally treated.

The main undesired side-effect is the initial reaction. It involves short-term pain exacerbation and usually occurs in patients with chronic pain. About 15-20 % of patients are affected and it can be largely avoided with dosage adjustment and by taking in enough water. Magnetic field therapy may not be applied in the presence of electrical implants (e.g. heart pacemaker).
Relative counter indications are epilepsy, pregnancy, untreated hyperthyroidism and high temperature.

PEMT can help with a great number of ailments and complaints. A minimum of 10–12 treatments, approx. 2-3 times a week should be carried out.

From the point of view of the patient the method is agreeably relaxing and results in a general feeling of well-being after only a few treatment sessions.
