Bone age measurement

We have a special computer programme at our disposal that will relatively accurately calculate a child’s future height based on age and current height and allowing for the height of the parents.

Even more precise information on a child’s future height can be made with the aid of an X-ray of the child’s left hand. As being the ‘right’ size plays an important role in our society (boys want to be tall, girls not so tall) it is possible to have an indication of future height during the growth phase and to take remedial measures if there is any indication of a growth disorder.
